Good afternoon! There’s nothing I love better than to ogle over gorgeous hair accessories. Today I bring you the quirky designs of Rag, Tat & Bones – photographed by the wonderful Silvery Moon Photography.
“The idea for the shoot came about when Lou of Rag Tat & Bones Hats contacted me about a shoot. She wanted to showcase her funky and fabulous Steampunk hats in a glamorous, magazine-styled shoot and had seen some of my work through a mutual friend.
“Lou takes her inspiration from the likes of Tim Burton and uses one-off items; animal skulls, feathers, teeth, dolls, watch parts etc, to adorn her creations. I fell in love with her wonderful, bespoke creations immediately (Lou has let me borrow one for a special occasion).
“The model for the shoot, Emma, I have worked on other photographic projects with previously and the MUA was my lovely friend, Shane, who has now been snapped up permanently by one of the major cosmetic houses; so if there are any fabulous, freelance MUA’s who would like to work with my on forthcoming projects, please get in touch.
” I work from my home, near Haworth in West Yorkshire or on location. My passion is sophisticated Boudoir photography and I do love to capture a good wedding!”
