Tattooed bride Jen and husband Gazz had a super fun wedding filled with colourful and tasty treats! Jen is a fabulous alternative model so when I found out she was getting married and wearing a bespoke Boo Boo Kitty Couture dress, I just had to make sure that her wedding would be on Marry Me Ink! I’m super excited that I get to share their awesome day at the Pyramid and Parr Hall with you from Frameworks Media.

We met at college, I was 16 and he was 18! We bonded over a mutual love of Less Than Jake and the fact that we were/are both geeks! After 13 years, we figured it was about time to get married!

The whole day was literally so perfect that I cant even choose one thing for my favourite! When you have something in your mind and you hope it will be that good – well it was better! One of my favourite moments was our first dance (Dont you forget about me – Simple Minds) when Gazz did a Judd Nelson-esque fist pump.. That was pretty awesome!

Our table decorations – paper robots, gumball machines etc. highlighted that we are both big kids still! The whole things was pretty much ‘us’ although I’m sure Gazz would’ve liked a giant Optimus Prime somewhere in there!

We had lots of DIY! Making up the favours boxes was pretty labour intensive – our friends were bloomin awesome with their offers of help! The paper robots were a job and a half to assemble too! We made our own tablecloths, favours, table centres and table decorations. My workmates decorated the ceremony room for us, and we assembles the dance floor ourselves – it was a group effort!

It would never occur to me to cover my tattoos up so I did want something that would not necessarily show them off as such, but something that would look great with the tattoos – I think I succeeded!

We have matching Player 1 and Player 2 NES pad tattoos!

How awesome is Jen and Gazz’s wedding? I love how they chose a venue which they could decorate and fill what all their cool stuff that represented them as a couple! Thank you to them both and to Frameworks Media for sharing their wedding with Marry Me Ink. Be sure to leave them some love!
