An Arizona Ghost Town Elopement – Angela & Anthony

Happy August! It’s my birthday month and we’re onto double digits for our own wedding countdown! How long is it until yours?

Today on Marry Me Ink we have Angela and Anthony’s Arizona elopement from Suzy Goodrick, which included their portraits being taken in a ghost town scrapyard and onto an intimate Italian meal in the evening.

We met each other the good ole fashioned way back in 2010 in a bar called, Tavern on Mill Ave in Tempe, AZ. The highlights of our elopement included our photos in Jerome, AZ – it was definitely a cool experience. Following our swift union we had dinner at a very welcoming Italian restaurant called, Papa’s, where my father brought along his accordion and performed for the entire restaurant.

Our photos represent us best, we’re simple. Anthony has a love for old American iron, so family pictures at an unforgotten resting place of classic cars was an easy way to get him on board. As for myself I wanted cooler weather and tall trees, we got just that and our photos captured it perfectly.

Stef & Adam’s York Elopement

This morning on Marry Me Ink, I get to share with you Stef & Adam’s elopement from Frozen Shutter Photography. They both met when they were teenagers, went their own ways and found each other again five years ago. It was like they were never apart!

The simplicity of it all reflected us as a couple. We just wanted to do our own thing and spend as much time together as possible. There really wasn’t much to do in terms of planning and prepping for the wedding! No guests means no invites, no fancy tables, no bridesmaids – Eloping was certainly the right choice!

Eloped By The Creek – A Styled Vintage & Floral Shoot

Today on Marry Me Ink, I get to share with you this styled elopement from Christine Quarté Photography. Featuring a gorgeous grey dress and the cutest couple – Sweetwater Creek State Park makes the idyllic location for the elopement.

Whimsical dress, beautiful scenery, and a fun couple. This vintage floral inspired elopement stemmed from my love of my garden and unique wedding dresses. “Amelia & Jeremy” were the perfect couple – currently engaged and soon to be wed, so totally, madly in love with each other already.

With the colorful dress, some light pink pumps, and a sweet bouquet, added with this fun and quirky couple, this styled elopement screamed “in love” and romantic with a little whimsy.

A Steampunk Elopement In The Lake District – Sharon & Richard

Happy New Year! Welcome to all those who got engaged over the Christmas period.. Also, which of you have their weddings this year – I have mine!

To kick off 2018 on Marry Me Ink, I get to bring you this gorgeous elopement from Tiree Dawson Photography – Sharon and Richard had their intimate day at Cragwood Country House Hotel and it was perfect!

I met Richard at 19 when I started my first full time job when I was 19 where he was already working at the same company. I was single at the time and Richard was with another girl. We hit it off straight away and became good work
friends pretty fast. We remained close through all this and fought like an old married couple.. 6 years later my relationship fell apart and so did Richards, and I am telling you now these events were separate and not connected at all but everyone put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5.

Richard was a rock for me – A total of 8 years later after having to leave my job and move away as everyone was sure we had had this massive scandalous affair, we have a home, a menagerie and a wonderful life together, Richard proposed on Christmas eve 2015, 12 October 2017 we got married.

I think it was how we got married that represented us both the most. It was almost an elopement – With just Richard and myself, the venue organised the whole thing and even provided the witnesses. That is us all over. People assume from our appearance, coloured hair, tattoos, bald head and big beard (obviously only in Richards case), that we are confident and love being the centre of attention and that could not be further from the truth. Richard was so concerned about being on display while getting married that he dreaded the thought of getting married, what is the point if one of you hates ever minute, it is about the two of you so that is what we made it.
