Good morning! What a better way to start the week than with a gorgeous wedding from Lee Allen Photography?!
Lee is a fantastic photographer based in Birmingham. When he sent me an image of Flare & Rut, I couldn’t wait to see more of their day and share it with you!
We had quite a lot of DIY elements, as a graphic designer I produced all of the stationery myself.
“The main DIY element was the tissue paper pom poms. I recruited my lovely mates to help with the prep, then family and friends helped the day before the wedding to set up. These were really fun to make and looked great too!”
“I definitely wanted a large part of my tattoo on show. Originally I didn’t want strapless – but I found a beautiful vintage dress that fit perfectly. I also swept my hair back on the tattoo side, to accentuate it.”
“I knew Rut from school and always had a crush on him! We’ve know each other for 16 years and have always been good friends. I went travelling for a year and came home, when I saw Rut I realised how I felt about him. We went to Vegas a couple of months into our relationship – and teased the parents that we were going to elope!”
When I first saw Rut as I was walking down the aisle was a really beautiful moment.
How gorgeous is this wedding? I love every bit of it, especially the flowers! Be sure to leave Flare, Rut & Lee Allen Photography some love!
