Today on Marry Me Ink, I get to share with you Deb and Paul’s wedding blessing and celebration that took place at Aston Marina in Staffordshire. They were both originally married in Jamaica in 2014 on the beach. They had their church blessing to create the precious memories with their loved ones and have it photographed by James Merrick Photography.
We met through work and after a few months of me dropping hints and Paul missing them it was a broken car headlight that finally brought us together – Paul had my number to put me in touch with a mechanic and literally ‘saw the light’.
We wanted a simple laid back day filled with fun and laughter! The whole day was tailor made by us. The best bit was the flowers and button holes that we made ourselves (well Paul’s Mum saved the day really as things aren’t always as easy as You Tube suggests!).
I always thought I wouldn’t want to have tattoos on show on my wedding day, but looking at the photographs I think ours look incredible! They makes our outfits. We love our ink and you don’t have tattoos to not show them off!! We think they add an extra vibe to the photographs!
