Today on Marry Me Ink, I get to share with you tattooed bride Emma and her husband Paul’s vow renewal from Rob Farrell Photography that took place at Arden Hotel in Stratford Upon Avon.
Me and my now husband actually met at a show bar back in 2012 at the Yumbo Center in Gran Canaria! He was dressed in a very revealing sailor suit which, looking back, was hilarious but it worked and it was 100% love at first sight! He didn’t know at first, me being with just one of my best guys friends, if we was together or not but from that moment we spent every hour together we could. Two weeks later, he came back to England for me and moved in for what was meant to be 2 weeks and never left! Happy but funny days!
My mom made my wedding bouquet as I couldn’t find one that wasn’t too big and it was amazing! I loved it and it was me, so that was fun! The quirky yet vintage style we went for totally reflected us as a couple.. We even had a bit of Disney mixed in! As Disney is just life!
To be honest, my style is just me.. My amazing crushed velvet cape I ended up wearing had me looking a bit like Belle from Beauty And The Beast, with a mix of a pagan goth! To me it was fab as it was all my favourite things!
Everyone knows how much I’m a sucker for Disney tattoos.. So when Laura Walsh (who is the creator of my tattoo sleeve) posted this last month, I just had to share it! It’s the stained glass rose from The Beauty & The Beast film (for those who are not familiar).
Laura is currently inking at Voodoo Tattoo Studio in Warrington, Merseyside and you can see more of her work on her Instagram – be sure to go and follow @tcblaura.
After following the happenings on Instagram recently I came across more of Rachel Baldwin‘s work.. Today, I get to share with you something awesome that took place at Bold As Brass Tattoo Co in Liverpool recently – A Disney Princess tattoo day!
With the studio filled with one off artwork in the form of clothing, beauty, tattoos and illustrations, this awesome event took place to raise funds for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
There are still some custom items available to purchase here – but you have to be quick! Be sure to leave the guys at Bold As Brass Tattoo Co some serious love for putting on such an awesome day for charity!
In light of the sad news that we woke up to this morning, this week’s edition of Tattoo Tuesday couldn’t have been anything else. Tattoo by the wonderful Miss Mae La Roux of Sacred Tiki Tattoo. (@missmaelaroux on Instagram)
Rest in peace Robin Williams, you made me laugh so much as a kid and you still do now.
