After following the happenings on Instagram recently I came across more of Rachel Baldwin‘s work.. Today, I get to share with you something awesome that took place at Bold As Brass Tattoo Co in Liverpool recently – A Disney Princess tattoo day!
With the studio filled with one off artwork in the form of clothing, beauty, tattoos and illustrations, this awesome event took place to raise funds for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
There are still some custom items available to purchase here – but you have to be quick! Be sure to leave the guys at Bold As Brass Tattoo Co some serious love for putting on such an awesome day for charity!
Tattoo Tuesday is back now we’re (sort of) settled in the house! However, I am still currently facing issues with my trusty desktop, so I’m having to use other means of posting blogs as and when I can. Hopefully this will be rectified soon and there’ll be many more posts for you to feast your eyes on!
This week’s edition of Tattoo Tuesday features a favourite artist of mine Rachel Baldwin. (You may remember her amazing Vegas wedding) This piece is full of my favourite colours!
Rachel and her husband Nick have recently opened up their own studio in Liverpool called Bold As Brass Tattoo Company, be sure to go follow them on Facebook and Instagram for more awesome tattoos!
Today I’m excited to announce some massive that I will be involved with this weekend! If you follow the Marry Me Ink Facebook page and Twitter page, you’ll already know this.
I am SUPER excited to announce that I am officially an Award Sponsor for this year’s Manchester International Tattoo Show taking place Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of August at Manchester Central (For other Mancunians.. It’s also known as the GMex)
The Manchester Tattoo Show (which is already firmly established as one of the UK’s most popular conventions) returns to Manchester Central this summer and is bigger than ever.
For the past ten years, the Manchester Tattoo Show has been one of the leading conventions on the UK tattoo scene. The event attracts tattoo artists of the highest calibre to the city for a weekend of fantastic ink and great entertainment.
With over 5,000sqm of the Manchester Central being used, the event welcomes world-class artists, live acts and entertainment and traders and vendors for visitors to enjoy.
This growth comes following a growth in demand and investment from Jazz Events, which already runs three leading UK tattoo conventions and acquired the Manchester Tattoo Show in 2012. Shelley Bond, event manager commented: “We’re excited to be enhancing this already popular show, giving ticket holders a better than ever chance of getting inked by one of the world’s leading tattoo artists. This year we have ‘Circus’ theme with related acts and performances taking place all weekend; there will be a lot going on and something for everyone.”
Today I bring a recent piece from the wonderful Rachel Baldwin who works at Modern Body Art in Birmingham. Rachel has been featured on the blog before – as a tattooed bride! You can see the feature here.
