When Traditionally Modern Weddings & Events sent me through a sneak peek of this wedding – I loved how elegant and super cool Lauren & Ben are!
Taking place at The Cotton Warehouse in Monroe, Lauren & Ben did plenty to make sure their wedding day represented them as a couple..
We both love music, so there were a lot of musical elements throughout the wedding. Table numbers were written with chalk on records, and our wedding planner, Dawn, made vases using records fitted around PVC pipe. Our florist used an old guitar to make our ceremony table centrepiece. We also had a couple of tattoo details – a friend of mine made a logo for our wedding that we had made into temporary tattoos, and our wedding planner set up a tattoo parlour so our guests could apply their tattoos.
“The ceremony was actually my favourite part, all the stress of wedding planning and the nervousness (surprisingly) disappeared as soon as I started walking down the aisle.”
“My Mom and I made our wedding card box out of an old guitar amp – that was fun because it involved power tools!”
Ben has my portrait (day of the dead style) on his arm, and while on our honeymoon I got our wedding logo tattooed on my shoulder.
How awesome are Lauren & Ben. Thank you to them both, Dawn of Traditionally Modern Weddings & Events and Storyboard Life for sharing their day with Marry Me Ink today.
