“The feeling of LOVE in the air with the unity of both our families!”

Today I get to share with you the gorgeous portraits of Jenny & Chris from Utah wedding photographer Claire Marika that took place at Noah’s. I think tattooed bride Jenny looks gorgeous with her vintage styled hair and her mermaid gown by Mori Lee don’t you think?

We met through mutual friends at a restaurant where a group of us were having dinner. My first impression of him was that he was kind of a jerk, and he thought I was stuck up!

We later kept running into each other around town within 2 years of meeting. I moved to LA and lived there for about a year. Later, I returned and ran into him again at a night club. We started making small talk, and coincidentally I knew his god sister for a few years and also started working with his younger sister that same month. (And I used to work at his current job at the time) We thought of this as the universe drawing us together and wanting us to be together.. The rest is history!

One of many highlights of our wedding was when we exchanged our vows, that one was my favorite – I was tearing up the entire time!

We had a video made with photos in it featuring our life together throughout the years. It also displayed photos of us from newborn babies to grown adults. Our family really enjoyed seeing those memories.

I did make our guest book with our photos of the time we dated, I also made my toss and formal bouquet. I loved making the guest book, because I went back and looked at all our photos and chose the most memorable times we spent together. 

The traditional dress I wore for the Thai ceremony was for sure long sleeve to cover my tattoos just out of respect. During my search for the wedding gown I did want long sleeves as well at first, because I loved the look of it with the mermaid cut. That style was very in this year, but I only found ones that weren’t very flattering. I later found my beautiful Mori Lee gown and I no longer wanted long sleeves after that.
