Today on Marry Me Ink, tattooed bride Amy shares with us her wedding to Neil with plenty of DIY elements and photography from Jess Yarwood.
Neil and I first met when I was 12 and he was 16. I had a massive crush on him but after 3 years, we lost touch. We eventually met back up 6 years ago at my older sisters birthday party and hit it off big time.
A stand out moment for me was my 6 year old son walking me down the aisle.
We got to show our personalities on our wedding day by having a 50s retro theme which we both adore, complete with accents of super hero comics running through which represented our geeky side.
I made the majority of elements from the bunting through to the table decorations. The most favourite to make had to be my wedding cake.. The worst was the comic confetti (sore fingers!)
I love my tattoos dearly. Tony Evans who owns Opulent Ink did an amazing job on them and it was imperative I showed them off.
How beautiful does Amy look in her Victoria Kay wedding dress? Her veil is gorgeous! They were both married and had their evening celebrations at the Hundred House Hotel which is a gorgeous venue for any wedding. Thank you to them both and to Jess Yarwood Photography for sharing their wedding with Marry Me Ink today – Be sure to leave them some love!
