Today on Marry Me Ink, I get to share with you Jade and Andrew’s wedding at Bryngarw House in South Wales, complete with a Krispy Kreme doughnut tower, from Larissa Joice Photography.
We met in the pub where I pestered Andrew to buy me a drink for ages before he eventually gave in. I left without giving him my phone number so he tracked me down through mutual friends and then asked me on a date.
I think the favourite part of our day was towards the end of the night when everyone had let their hair down and was just dancing and having a good time. We sneaked off for ten minutes just to have a bit if a breather and take it all in.
I made the seating chart myself which was fun. We had a few DIY things so I spent an evening with my bridesmaids with a little production line (and wine) and we just had so much fun making things and getting excited about the wedding.
Our wedding day was exactly what we were hoping for. We had a harpist playing Metallica songs and didn’t have any hearts or sloppy slogans anywhere – the day was totally us. As for my tattoos, I actually got a new tattoo because of my dress. It had some see through material on the arms and shoulders so I got an old school rose on me chest/shoulder knowing that it would be seen when I had my dress on.
I absolutely love Jade and Andrew’s Welsh countryside wedding, thank you to them both and Larissa Joice Photography for sharing with Marry Me Ink.
