At The Vintage & Alternative Wedding Fair, we’re bored of organza chair bows and mirror centre-pieces. We yawn in the face of tradition and yearn for something more exciting, more unique, more YOU! Our fairs offer an alternative to the products you’ve seen at every other wedding you’ve been to and showcases the finest vintage and alternative wedding suppliers from the South East & beyond!

THE WHAT I SEE PROJECT LAUNCH

Today I am SO excited to share what an amazing thing the What I See Project is.

I am so privileged to be one of many influential women to be kick starting this project today to show you that you are awesome!

The What I See Project embarks on a five week awareness campaign, where over 100 female voices (me being one of them!) will share their answer to the question “What do you see when you look in the mirror?”.

“The project aims to provide a safe environment where women can share their struggles, achievements and inner thoughts, and express themselves freely through a website that appreciates them for who they really are. Throughout a year, The What I See Project aims to reach out to as many women as possible, from as diverse a range of locations and walks of life as possible.

A diverse group of writers, editors, bloggers and communicators from fashion, science, business, politics, art, sport, feminism and motherhood will tell their inspiring stories within the next five weeks on the What I See Project Campaign site.”

So on Saturday I went down and had a right nosey round, found my banner and chatted to some friends who I knew would have stalls there, it was a great day.

I cam home with lots of pretty things from many stalls such as Pieces Of The Past and Dolly Cool, rested my head and ventured back to Manchester Central armed with goodies to set up table for the day back in the lounge.
