Exquisite Elegance, With A Twist! [Tattooed Bride Blog]

Today I bring beautiful images from Fanni Williams Photography.

Fanni captures the elegance and beauty of the pastel dress and the bride in this shoot – I am very thankful that she has let me use these images today.

Now here’s for the twist..

 CHECK OUT HER LEG PIECE!

It is utterly stunning.. From the porcelain make-up and pastel hair to the lacy ankle-socks!
Don’t get me wrong – I’m all up for having your tattoos on show, but this.. I love how the bride looked when she hoisted up her dress!

Do leave Fanni some love – this shoot is wonderful!

Red, White & Blue Bridal Inspiration Shoot [Tattooed Bride Blog]

LOOK AT THIS!!

When Jaye of Tux & Tales Photography sent this inspirational bridal shoot – I squealed in excitement! I got to meet Jaye this weekend at the Alternative Wedding Fair.
You would have seen these images already on Rock n’ Roll Bride back in August..

The shoot was styled on a shoestring budget. “I think it is a great way to show brides that they can have a fun and fab style with a little pocket change and a lot of elbow grease.” says Jaye.. Sat on the living room floor, feathers flying everywhere whilst her cat plays catch the feather with the hat styling!

Boo, their model, is a burlesque girl and did all her own hair and make-up too.
Do leave Jaye of Tux & Tales some love on how beautifully British this bridal shoot is!

Nic & Mike’s DIY Vintage, Tattooed, Tea-stained Wedding [Tattooed Bride Blog]

Today I bring a spectacular wedding from Assassynation – a photographer who also  loves a bit of ink!

Nic and Mike got married back in June this year and everything was DIY! After exchanging vows at Exeter registry office and some fantastic photos – they held their reception in their own back garden which included handmade cupcakes!

Nic owns her own business – Songbird Tattoo where she specialises  in blackwork, dotwork and mehndi styles..
Just look at their tattoos – they’re so beautiful! (Nic also designed Mike’s tattoos!)

Nic’s dress was from Unique Vintage & was very white when it arrived, to which Nic then decided to stain in Earl Gray and coffee which later happened to her House of Fraser bolero! From the top of her handcrafted brooch headpiece down to her Irregular Choice shoes (which were the first item to be purchased!), Nic looked fabulous in 50s vintage and made an utterly beautiful tattooed bride and such a cute tattooed couple too! And they have an owl cushion!!

(Kat at Rock n Roll Bride also featured this wedding in June.. You can see her write up here)

Be sure to leave Sassy some praise and some love to Nic & Mike below!
