I cam home with lots of pretty things from many stalls such as Pieces Of The Past and Dolly Cool, rested my head and ventured back to Manchester Central armed with goodies to set up table for the day back in the lounge.

Today I bring you Katie & Geoff who have such a wonderful story to tell – I hope you’re prepared? With stunning photography from Jonas Seaman, “Our photos were almost as important as the gown to me.explains Katie, “I wanted some amazing photos to have to be able to show our children and grandchildren one day and to say we got amazing photos is a vast understatement. They are more than I could’ve ever imagined.

My husband, Geoff, and I met through MySpace in 2008. He added me as a friend and I’m not one to just accept requests from people I don’t personally know so I emailed him and politely asked who he was and he said he saw that I was into Volkswagens, I had worked for a Volkswagen dealership at the time, and that struck his interest. He said I was pretty and he wanted to get to know me.  We exchanged emails for a while and then moved to talking on the phone and finally decided to meet.  He worked for an auto parts retailer and I decided to go there after work one day and I immediately knew he was something special. Talking to him on the phone I had an idea of what type of man he was and I was excited to get to meet him and see how he was in person. Later, he told me that I “intimidated” him when we first met because I was wearing high heels and looked professional, since I had just come from work, and that wasn’t something he was used to. We decided to get together after he got off work and we just spent the entire night talking. We first went to a local Mexican restaurant and then it got so late we ended up going to a 24-hour grocery store just so we could keep talking and hanging out, neither of us wanted to go home!

The Manchester Tattoo Show (which is already firmly established as one of the UK’s most popular conventions) returns to Manchester Central this summer and is bigger than ever.

For the past ten years, the Manchester Tattoo Show has been one of the leading conventions on the UK tattoo scene. The event attracts tattoo artists of the highest calibre to the city for a weekend of fantastic ink and great entertainment.

With over 5,000sqm of the Manchester Central being used, the event welcomes world-class artists, live acts and entertainment and traders and vendors for visitors to enjoy.

This growth comes following a growth in demand and investment from Jazz Events, which already runs three leading UK tattoo conventions and acquired the Manchester Tattoo Show in 2012. Shelley Bond, event manager commented: We’re excited to be enhancing this already popular show, giving ticket holders a better than ever chance of getting inked by one of the world’s leading tattoo artists. This year we have ‘Circus’ theme with related acts and performances taking place all weekend; there will be a lot going on and something for everyone.”
