I love meeting new people, especially local bloggers. Last Sunday I had the chance to do just that, along with plenty of crafting with Laura Ashley and Ministry Of Craft at Rosylee Tearooms in one of my favourite parts of Manchester.
First we got to sew our own bunting gift bag with some lovely Laura Ashley fabric.
Then after getting over the fact that I haven’t used a sewing machine in over 15 years (Even then it wasn’t that successful!) I managed to create my version of the bunting gift bag..

Today I get to share with you the gorgeous portraits of Jenny & Chris from Utah wedding photographer Claire Marika that took place at Noah’s. I think tattooed bride Jenny looks gorgeous with her vintage styled hair and her mermaid gown by Mori Lee don’t you think?
We met through mutual friends at a restaurant where a group of us were having dinner. My first impression of him was that he was kind of a jerk, and he thought I was stuck up!
We later kept running into each other around town within 2 years of meeting. I moved to LA and lived there for about a year. Later, I returned and ran into him again at a night club. We started making small talk, and coincidentally I knew his god sister for a few years and also started working with his younger sister that same month. (And I used to work at his current job at the time) We thought of this as the universe drawing us together and wanting us to be together.. The rest is history!

Today I get to share with you this gorgeous wedding from Crystal Stokes Photography of Andee and Daniel that took place at The Palmer Building in Charlotte, North Carolina .
Daniel and I knew of each other in high school, but were re introduced by a mutual friend (my maid of honor) almost ten years later.
We had a subtle Beatles themed wedding. The tables were all named Beatles songs, and the harp player for the ceremony played all Beatles tracks. The sleeve on my arm is all artwork from yellow submarine, and The Beatles were the first thing we bonded over. It seemed fitting!
