The first engagement shoot of 2017 is filled with my favourite things – Tea and cake (and also gorgeous tattoos!) I’ll let Lisa tell you all about Adam’s perfect proposal and afterwards they had their engagement shoot in Llangollen – a town full of vintage wares and the idyllic “Vintage Rose Tea Room” with Abigail Joan Photographer.
Adam and I decided to book a weekend away together for our one year anniversary in October of 2015. We wanted something different so headed off to spend a few days glamping in a beautiful yurt in Cumbria.
On the first night, we settled into our new surroundings and lit a campfire. Toasting marshmallows and playing board games, it was a refreshing change from our usual technology-filled evenings. Our yurt was located by the lake and was so peaceful.
Later that night, we got comfy in our hideaway and snuggled up under blankets. It was then that Adam asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes! He presented me with a beautiful vintage art deco engagement ring and I fell in love with him just a little more after that! (I jest of course, but it was a stunner)
