An Inked & Animal Print Engagement

Isn’t it amazing how you get talking to people? I met Christine over the love of tattoos over on the smartphone app Instagram. After several photo uploads, I came to see that she was recently engaged to her man Rob. (Aren’t they the cutest?!)

Christine & Rob met on Tattoo Passions,  a dating and networking site specifically for those with a passion for ink.

Rob asked Christine to marry him in the simplest of ways – “Nothing fancy. He’s not that kinda guy”. (I think the ring says otherwise – that is one gorgeous ring!)

Christine tells me that she’s already ordered her wedding dress, ready to show off both arms and the tattoo on her back. It arrives in June.. I’m excited for her!

“We do not have tattoos for each other yet. We are working on it.”

Aren’t they cute?! Do leave some love for Christine & Rob – such a wonderful couple. And huge thanks to them both and their photographer Danielle Daigle for sharing their photos.

A Fun, Colourful, “KAPOW!” Engagement – Samy & Stephen [Tattooed Bride Blog]

This is one of my favourite engagement shoots I’ve posted on the blog so far! I saw these images previous to Zoe sending me a lovely message over on the Photos By Zoe blog where  Samy & Stephen look like they were having so much fun, despite nearly being blown away by the blustery conditions.

Unfortunately, Zoe won’t spill any details of their wedding apart from there being some fab spots around the venue they ave chosen. I can’t wait to see those images later on this year!
Samy & Stephen look like such a fun couple to be with, all the colourful tattoos, skate parks, Samy’s “Boing” necklace & Stephen’s exceptional pouting against the brickwork.

As for their tattoos, Samy tells me that Stephen is quite the addict, with both of his arms covered – one serious, one silly (I love the “KAPOW!” tattoo). One of his next tattoos is a dot-to-dog dragon, which Samy gets to colour in!
As for Samy herself, she is currently planning her first quarter sleeve for before the wedding but is currently finding it hard to find an artist that she likes.

SEE! Aren’t they sun a fun couple?!! Do take a look here through the photos, I can’t wait to see images of their wedding!

Do leave some love for photographer Zoe and for Samy & Stephen.
Also, if you have any tattooists that you like you could leave Samy a comment on who you like/who did yours. My personal favourite tattooists are Laura of Legends Tattoo Studio (She’s a good friend who designed and inked all of mine) and then there’s obviously Nic of Songbird Tattoo Studio.

Have a great week guys! – Rach.X

A Multicoloured Fairground Engagement Shoot – Andy & Jessica [Tattooed Bride Blog]

Today I bring you the colourful engagement of Andy & Jessica from Dixie Pixel where it’s not the bride-to-be is tattooed – but the groom!

Pictures were taken at Tennessee Valley Fair, it looks like they had lots of fun, especially on the ferris wheel!
I am in love with Jessica’s hair!

Do leave some love as this engagement shoot is absolutely stunning!

A Rustic Woodland Engagement Shoot [Tattooed Bride Blog]

Clare & Dave’s rustic woodland engagement shoot at The Hollies – Toast Of Leeds

When this arrived in my inbox last month from Shelly from Toast Of Leeds I was in awe at how awesome this shoot was!

Check it out:

“Try as might to convince them otherwise, Clare and Dave absolutely insisted that their pre-wed shoot should take place at The Hollies in Leeds.

I wanted to shoot in Dave’s fabulous tattoo studio, The Black Crown, where I’ve shot before but they were having none of it. The Black Crown is a beautiful studio – gorgeous ink on the walls, full of eclectic bits and bobs – the last time I went there was a unicycle in one corner! However, undeterred, I met them both at The Hollies in Headingley, Leeds. This is where the two of them had their second date, eating strawberries on the little bridge and falling head over heels in love. How could I say no?

So with the sun shining and our spirits high, we spent the morning slipping in the mud, saying hello to strange dogs and climbing trees – just your everyday walk in the park! Of course the park wasn’t full of colour (wrong time of year) and Dave wore completely inappropriate shoes which I pretty much managed to ruin by the end of the shoot but hopefully he’s forgiven me by now.

They met at a popular watering hole in Leeds at a gig where Clare (knowing full well Dave had his own studio) went up to him and asked him if he’d tattoo her…. The rest as they say, is history. That’s how us girls roll… A lot of Clare’s tattoos weren’t on show for the pre-wed shoot although her gorgeous locket on her chest is Dave’s fine work.”

It’s true! Clare’s locket-chest piece is epic!

Just look at these two:

Again: A HUGE thank you to Shelly at Toast Of Leeds for letting me share this awesome couple with you!
