We knew straight away that we wanted a wedding that really captured ‘us’ and represented our style, our personalities, our favourite things and our love … relaxed, fun, unique, positive, spontaneous and pink! Soon after getting engaged, we went on holiday to Rhodes and fell in love with St Pauls Bay and the beautiful little chapel at the end of the bay. There was no question this was where we were going to get married.

A Pastel, Romantic Farm Wedding In Iowa – Nicole & Joe

Iowa Wedding Photographer Family Farm

Happy December! Only 24 sleeps until Christmas!

I sneak peeked a gorgeous snap of Nicole and Joe’s Iowa farm wedding about a month ago, the minute Ashley Jane Photography send them over – I’m so honoured to get to share the most beautiful couples first hand with you guys!

Joe and I met while he was on tour with the Goddamn Gallows. We shared French fries, talked until 8am and then as we were laying down to sleep, Joe slyly set up his bed roll next to mine.. Tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I wanted to cuddle! We started dating a week later.

The highlight of our wedding day was getting to see all of our planning and hard work pay off – Having all of our friends (both distant and local) come together in one place.

I think each detail of the wedding represented Joe and I, we planned and constructed everything very carefully and made sure it was exactly ‘us’.

A Two Day, Tattoo Session Wedding – Noémie & Christian

MMI_2919

Today I get to share with you the awesome two day wedding of Noémie & Christian – Including the day where they and their witnesses got inked!

MMI_2928

We had everything during our wedding, with only one way to represent us both: class but with a touch of madness.

We met eachother by the magical way of internet! We were both on a forum about french mastif dogs, looking for advice. We found ourselves speaking together, more and more often. But we lived over 500km away from each other! For us, the funniest thing about our first meet up, is that each other was not really what we thought of each other. My husband was not really well dress, and for my hubby I was looked like a really young girl who was taller than him. So at the first sight, we thought nothing was going to happen between us .

One thing that is very strange, is that our dogs fell in love with each other before we did ourselves. When I came back to my house, my dog didn’t want to eat, and the Christian’s dog was sulking for mine.

A Thorncrown Chapel Wedding – Sarah & Jason

JasonSarahBLOG40

Today I get to share with you Sarah and Jason’s gorgeous wedding from Cottonwood Studios that took place at Thorncrown Chapel in Arkansas followed by a reception at Devito’s Italian Restaurant. Their first date is the best ever.. Just a warning – Their kids are just the cutest!

JasonSarahBLOG21

We both met at work. I was recently divorced and thought that he was cute, so naturally I completely avoided him. Once I found out that he was also a single parent, I  made it a point to start conversations. Eventually, I asked Jason if he wanted to have a Harry Potter movie night. This question came in a Facebook message, about 10 minutes after we had been speaking in person. A very mature move that I’m still pretty proud of. The next day, we had that movie night and have barely been apart since.

We wanted to build our own bouquets with the wild flowers that we could find around the area. The morning of the wedding, we went to breakfast and then drove on country roads, cutting flowers from fields and roadsides. Our goal was to find as many irises as we could, and we thought that we had in one particular ditch. After a few minutes, an old guy named Steve came from his house across the street to see what we were doing. BUSTED. When we told him, he told us to go into his yard and take all of the irises that we needed, because he just mows them down. Later in the day, after our weeding party arrived, all of the bridesmaids helped to build the bouquets together. Thanks, Steve.
