Stef & Adam’s York Elopement

This morning on Marry Me Ink, I get to share with you Stef & Adam’s elopement from Frozen Shutter Photography. They both met when they were teenagers, went their own ways and found each other again five years ago. It was like they were never apart!

The simplicity of it all reflected us as a couple. We just wanted to do our own thing and spend as much time together as possible. There really wasn’t much to do in terms of planning and prepping for the wedding! No guests means no invites, no fancy tables, no bridesmaids – Eloping was certainly the right choice!

A Rustic Wedding With Alpacas – Sasha & Josh

Today on Marry Me Ink, I get to share with you another gorgeous wedding from Memories and Milestones Photography – Sasha and Josh were married at Bickley Mill Inn and even had alpaca visitors on the day!

We both attended the same secondary school where Josh was the year below me. If I remember rightly I think I might have added Josh on a social media website after seeing him around school. We spoke on there for a while before actually plucking up the courage to speak in person. We bumped into each other a couple of times whilst out with our friends of an evening and after that started meeting up on our own quite frequently and eventually started “going out”. We were 15/16 years old at the time. We were together for roughly 5 months and then I left year 11 to start my college course and decided it would no longer work and we went our separate ways. Obviously not for long as we got back together 6 years later and are now happily married living as a new little family of 3 (I have a daughter, Sienna, from a previous relationship, Josh is the most amazing step parent).

An Early Morning Wedding Complete With Brunch & A Bonfire – Samantha & Bryce

Today on Marry Me Ink I get to share with you Samantha and Bryce’s woodland wedding from Nicola Reiersen Photography. Everything from Samantha’s Mori Lee berry coloured dress to the bonfire is keeping us cosy this morning!

We met in high school in the library and instantly became good friends. It was always a hilarious back and forth of your cliché-high-school-sweetheart-but-friend-zoned story the eventually grew into the most comfortable and strong relationship.

Almost everything in our wedding really reflected us as a couple. From hosting an early morning wedding, serving brunch, having a bonfire and being out in the woods of the Pacific Northwest.

I’d say 90% of our wedding was DIY, the most fun thing we did was creating our “Sunday Paper” for our guests – complete with a custom crossword.

The highlight of our wedding day, aside from the obvious (marrying my best friend), was probably seeing all our hard work in all its glory. All of our family and friends came together to help us make the day so special and it really showed.

DIY Vegan Wedding With A Gothic & Southern Feel – Evan & Sean

Today on Marry Me Ink, I get to share with you Evan & Sean’s gothic Southern wedding at California’s Old Crocker Inn in from Matthew William Photography.

Evan was living in Fullerton, and was interested in stopping by her favourite little bar nearby, to grab a glass of wine and some freshly made french fries. Perfectly content at sitting on her own and not being bothered while she played games on her phone, surfing the socials and people watching, she couldn’t help but notice the piercing blue eyes of her server, catching her off guard. Trying to get his attention long enough to catch those eyes locking in on her own, she started some small talk with him, asking him about how much he liked working at that bar, and what else he did for a living. Sean was his name and he informed her that he worked at another bar she liked very much, when he wasn’t working there.

As the basket of fries diminished, the table next to her was annoyingly specific with what they wanted, asking silly requests and clearly frustrating Sean while he tried to take their order and satisfy them. Evan and Sean locked eyes and exchanged multiple funny glares at the odd requests they made. Sean smirked at Evan while taking her neighbouring table’s order, and she smiled back.

Evan decided she would just have to show up at that other bar as well, to offer another chance opportunity for their paths to cross. Doodling all over her check for Sean to see, she headed for the door and she was leaving, he called out to her, standing in the middle of the aisle when he should’ve been working and said, “Goodbye Evan!” She turned around, startled by someone calling her name, as she was stuck in her head, high on the flirt, and awkwardly ran into the door on her way out saying, “Oh! Bye . . . Sean!”

Less than 24 hours went by before Sean had found Evan on Instagram, and followed her. She immediately followed him back (although he didn’t post much), and another day or two went by before she slyly showed up at his other bar, just to see if he remembered her. As soon as she walked through the bar door, he made a spot for her right at the bar, near him, introduced her to all his regular customers and coworkers, and they talked the night away. They went on their first date that week, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
