Tattoos, beard and horses – This is what Cillia Ciabrini of Pour Fair Court shared with me and I’m so glad I get to feature it on Marry Me Ink. This inspirational wedding shoot was born from the desire to bring together a intimate wedding in a wild and bohemian atmosphere – a little rock and folk. This shoot is full of geometric colour and gorgeous landscapes.. My favourite! I had the chance to speak to Cillia about her styling ideas for the shoot.
It all started with the encounter with Lena and Aden – a beautiful couple with atypical traits and tattooed bodies but particularly funny and sweet! I have to admit, the beauty of Lena hit me – she releases an incredible softness and her beauty is timeless. She’s one of these warm beauties that seems cold from the outside, she’s mysterious and fascinating and it is exactly this atmosphere that I wanted to reflect, a winter wedding with a blue light but a warm couple. Sublimated by the Make Up of Alexia Parisi, Lena is gorgeous in her tailored silk dress made by the talented Kaa Couture.
Aden wears a suit by Vaubecour Lyon. (Even though he is more used to wearing jeans and sneakers!) All their tattoos were done at Lena’s shop in Lyon, Ink’a Tattoo. This is where they met and where I have also seen them for the first time.
By getting to know them, I’ve discovered that Lena loved horses, the idea of the stud became obvious and we had a real crush for the stud in the Lyon area, La Manade, where Christian, the owner welcomed us with open arms. In addition to leave us enjoying all the space we wanted and enjoy the lights, he gave us the pleasure to chose the equine model that would participate in our photoshooting – Oural dug up the role! This lovely mare knew how to raise her ears at the smallest sound of candy paper! She was very sweet with our couple – though she gladly tasted the bridal bouquet!
Talking about the bouquet, all the floral creation have been devised by Lilas Wood – The Magician of The Flower.. Her poetry brings you into a world of sweetness and she can make you re discover forgotten flowers. (I definitely felt in love with the dahlias!)
Through these images, it seemed important to highlight a different couple. They are both as shy as sincere and that is also my approach of wedding photography, I like to offer a timeless moment with emotions and softness – A few pictures that every family will keep for decades and will be glad and proud to show.
How gorgeous is this styled shoot? I absolutely LOVE the styling. Thank you to Pour Fair Court for sharing with Marry Me Ink today. Make sure you check out the full list of suppliers from the shoot at the end of the feature – Make sure you leave them some love.
