So, this week has been super crazy going back into work and also getting the finishing touches done on the house. Also, Marry Me Ink turned TWO on Tuesday! It was my sister’s baby shower on Sunday and I spent all weekend baking and icing this violet ombre cake! It was yummy!

On Sunday, we went to see the hilarious Daniel Sloss and Kai Humphries at The Lowry. We’ve seen them before and bought the tickets last minute. They’re definitely worth going seeing if you like to laugh. A LOT.

NOVEMBER 2012

In November of last year, a fabulous magazine about embracing the female tattoo culture was launched – Things & Ink. I had the privilege of taking part a photo shoot with photographer Laura Babb and editor Alice to show that tattoos can look gorgeous against your wedding dress!

This little kitty is Sir Stuffington, who looks like a pirate. The reason he looks like a pirate is because he has a jaw fracture and has been left with only one eye. He was cleaned up by the Multnomah County Animal Services and treated while the two brothers that he was found with were also given care. You can read the full story here and check our more pictures on his own Facebook page!
