Rock The Frock Bridal Boutique are delighted to be hosting their original take on a bridal event at the beautiful Hylands House in Chelmsford, Essex on Thursday evening the 9th of April. 

Tired of seeing professional models on bridal show catwalks who don’t represent you or the style of your wedding? Long to see real brides wearing something different from the long, strapless gown? Then this is the event for you! Rock The Frock are beyond excited to have real past brides wearing their stunning Rock The Frock dresses again as well as a whole host of other beautiful ladies of all sizes, shapes, styles & age to represent just how unique we all are!

A fab evening out for you & your maids & mums, Rock The Frock Bridal Showcase promises to show you their amazing dresses, shoes & accessories in relaxed yet elegant surroundings with the chance to experience some wonderful wedding workshops, including hair & make up demonstrations, examples of beautiful floristry & styling and the chance to meet some simply amazing wedding suppliers to chat about your big day. They’ll even provide bubbly & delicious canapes for you all to enjoy!

I love meeting new people, especially local bloggers. Last Sunday I had the chance to do just that, along with plenty of crafting with Laura Ashley and Ministry Of Craft at Rosylee Tearooms in one of my favourite parts of Manchester.

First we got to sew our own bunting gift bag with some lovely Laura Ashley fabric.

Then after getting over the fact that I haven’t used a sewing machine in over 15 years (Even then it wasn’t that successful!) I managed to create my version of the bunting gift bag..
