A Natural & Romantic Styled Shoot – The Tetley, Leeds

I hope you all had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend? Today on Marry Me Ink I get to share with you this gorgeous styled shoot from Your Choice Photography that took place at The Tetley in Leeds. The Tetley is part of Leeds history, and is a little bit of old meets new with redesign inside which makes for a lovely backdrop and versatile enough for any couple.

Jordan & Jamie have been together some years now, and travelled over from Birmingham to take part in the beautiful shoot. Jamie models in the alternative industry and had just the look that I was after… she is really authentic and very sweet. Jordan is a guitarist in ‘Failure Is An Option’ and the pair give off this natural sweet, but rock ‘n’ vibe!

All the styling on the day was by Add Vintage, Emily created some beautiful looks which were incredible when combined with the illuminations from Love Lights The Way.

A Camp Katur Festival Wedding – Grace & Danny

Camp Katur festival Papakata Tipi Wedding by Toast Photography

Grace and Danny’s wedding took place at the awesome Camp Katur – The ultimate festival glamping site, full of Tipis in Yorkshire. The lovely Shelly of Toast Of Leeds sent this over and I fell in love with it straight away!

We met at a house party when I was 16, we had never met and Danny stole my seat when I went to the toilet and when I came back we pretended to everyone that we had known each other for years and I sat on his knee – we had  a cheeky kiss upstairs whilst his best friend hid in the wardrobe… and he gave me a fiver for my taxi home – good first impression!! After that night we didn’t see each other for a couple of months and then kept bumping into each other at the pub, we were both seeing other people at the time so it was a bit awkward but we eventually started texting. Then on Valentine’s day (cringe) I had just become officially single and was sat in the loo of the local pub pissed and feeling sorry for myself and rang him asking whether he was going to come and see me… he played it cool and said he was at a house party so probably wouldn’t make it so I drowned my sorrows with a few more diesels at the bar, 20 minutes later he walked in and asked me if I was coming to his – so I did!

A Pin Up, Button Filled Wedding In Heckmondwike – Emma & Chris

MMI_3839

You may recognise tattooed bride and groom Emma and Chris from their golden engagement shoot in Yorkshire that I featured in January. Today they’re back with their gorgeous Ponderosa Lakeside Restaurant wedding from Maryanne Scott Photography.

Having all our friends and family together to be part of our day was the highlight of our wedding day. We never wanted a stuffy formal wedding, that’s just not us. We had so much fun and spent the whole day just smiling and laughing!

I think the fact that we had such a relaxed day was the biggest reflection on us as a couple. There were also little hints of tattoo art, such as on the table plan, wedding cake and back of my dress.

Marry Me Ink Loves Emma Warley Photography

MMI_3786

How is it the end of February already? Did any of you get engaged over Valentines Day? I’d love to hear from you if you did, as Marry Me Ink is still looking for 2015’s tattooed bride. You can read more about that here.

Today, I get to introduce you to another super supplier – Emma Warley Photography! You may have seen Emma’s work previously – Stephanie and Jock’s Falling Foss Tea Garden wedding

MMI_3790

My name is Emma Warley and I take photos that will make you smile, laugh and even cry (in a good way). I’m an alternative wedding photographer in that I don’t just turn up, get the group shots and go home, I stay with you all day and rock it.

I live by the seaside in Scarborough with my husband Richard and two cats, Eddie and Meg. I have rainbow hair, am obsessed with The Goonies and listen to an awful lot of music.

The inspiration for my work comes from love and people who love each other, as corny as that sounds, it’s what makes me have a passion for what I do. I take a lot of inspiration from films, music and the places around me too. I try to make the photographs I take of you show your love and personalities to the world and make you remember even the most fleeting of moments with fondness and a big ol’cheesy grin.

My favourite brides and grooms have big smiles, aren’t afraid to show their emotions and are totally up for fun and laughter on their wedding day!
