Hitting The High Street For Your Wedding Dress – PHASE EIGHT

It’s that time again where I’ve been searching my favourite high street stores for low cost wedding dresses. Last month we looked at Coast Wedding Dresses and this time, I’ve been looking at dresses from Phase Eight.

Again, I’ve selected a few of my favourites in neutral colours and also coloured wedding dresses and some sequin wedding dress options (I love sequins!).

A Coral Outdoor Country Club Wedding – Kira & Nathan

I love searching for and receiving the most recent tattooed brides and tattooed grooms to share with you on Marry Me Ink. Today’s wedding is from Matt Ritscher of New Hope Photography whose work I came across recently on Instagram. Kira and Nathan’s wedding took place at Alvamar Country Club in Lawrence, Kansas and featured lots of cute coral colours.

We met while we were working at a fitness club. Nathan came into the office right after my interview. I was not immediately impressed with him. After getting to know each other at work, he finally asked me to go out with him and some friends one night. We went out and had a great time. We have been together ever since. We were together 8 years before we got married.

The whole atmosphere of the wedding represented us as a couple. It was very relaxed but yet it was a great time. We had a cocktail hour before the wedding which helped the guests loosen up and mingle with each other. At one point I looked into the crowd and saw a good number of people having their drinks during the ceremony. We had never been to a wedding which had that element.

Marry Me Ink Loves Emma Warley Photography

How is it the end of February already? Did any of you get engaged over Valentines Day? I’d love to hear from you if you did, as Marry Me Ink is still looking for 2015’s tattooed bride. You can read more about that here.

Today, I get to introduce you to another super supplier – Emma Warley Photography! You may have seen Emma’s work previously – Stephanie and Jock’s Falling Foss Tea Garden wedding!

My name is Emma Warley and I take photos that will make you smile, laugh and even cry (in a good way). I’m an alternative wedding photographer in that I don’t just turn up, get the group shots and go home, I stay with you all day and rock it.

I live by the seaside in Scarborough with my husband Richard and two cats, Eddie and Meg. I have rainbow hair, am obsessed with The Goonies and listen to an awful lot of music.

The inspiration for my work comes from love and people who love each other, as corny as that sounds, it’s what makes me have a passion for what I do. I take a lot of inspiration from films, music and the places around me too. I try to make the photographs I take of you show your love and personalities to the world and make you remember even the most fleeting of moments with fondness and a big ol’cheesy grin.

My favourite brides and grooms have big smiles, aren’t afraid to show their emotions and are totally up for fun and laughter on their wedding day!
